The Cape was everything I had dreamed of and so much more… from the moment we arrived in Harwich at the Platinum Pebble Boutique Inn, we felt completely at home. The Hogans are absolutely amazing, and treat you like a member of their family the minute you step through the doors of their gorgeous inn. Truly, at the Platinum Pebble you are living like a local in the most luxurious accommodations! From restaurant recommendations, to bicycles for the Rail Trail, to delicious breakfasts by the pool, they have you covered, and will go out of their way to ensure not only that your needs are met, but that you have the most unforgettable experience, which we absolutely did! We only had two days to stay in Harwich before heading up to Maine, but with their help we were able to immerse ourselves in the beauty that is Cape Cod, and we savored every single moment (and bite!)

Our short trip was filled with incredible seafood, breathtaking views, and a lifetime of memories… a rainy afternoon at the Cape meant ducking into a local spot and talking baseball with the bartender over a bowl of insanely good clam chowder, and that rainy afternoon gave way to a sunset so brilliant it honestly brought tears to my eyes. I want to continue experiencing moments like those… moments when a place you had always dreamed of visiting becomes a place where you feel completely at home.

We had a blast, but definitely worked up an appetite after all that bike-riding. We stopped at Local Flavor along the Trail, parked our bikes, and ordered an insanely good BLT and hotdog, which powered us up for the ride back to the Platinum Pebble! capecod4capecod20capecod26Mooncussers Tavern was hands-down our favorite restaurant in Harwich. Unbelievably good tapas, drinks, atmosphere and conversation… If we were locals we would most definitely be regulars at Mooncussers. What I would give to live at the Cape! capecod36capecod38We played putt-putt after dinner each night, and it was magical (even if we do get waaay too competitive!) Truly, I could so get used to summer nights filled with delicious food followed by rounds of mini-golf as the sun goes down… capecod1capecod34capecod32capecod23
